PURPOSE:To enable a person in charge of maintenance to speedily repair an automatic ticket examining device. CONSTITUTION:The automatic ticket examining device which reads magnetic information out of a passenger ticket while detecting the position of the passenger ticket conveyed along a conveyance path and processes the passenger ticket according to the information is equipped with a RAM 46 which stores guidance screens including display patterns set corresponding to predicted abnormality contents of a conveyance system, a display unit control circuit 101 and a display unit 100 which display the guidance screens, a detector 111 which detects the opening of a top cover for switching the guidance screens on the display unit 100, and a CPU 42 which reads the guidance screen including a corresponding display pattern out of the RAM 46 when the detector 111 detects the opening of the cover, and switches a normal primary screen displayed on the display unit 100 to the secondary screen including the display pattern. |
