Flue for multiple gas appliances

Individual room gas appliances are closed to the flue by means of a damper unless an air intake arrangement for the appliance is operating, in which case a motor opens the damper to enable exhaust of the waste gases. The multiple entry gas flue (1) is connected to each room gas appliance (11), through a damper (4), which seals the entry (3) when the air intake system (13) is not operating. When air is admitted to the appliance, a motor (5) opens the damper (4) and the exhaust gases enter the flue.
