PURPOSE:To prevent an observer from observing an image having a sense of incompatibility according to the positions of an image pickup means and the observer and the rotation of the image pickup means for a smooth manipulation, for example, by properly rotating multiple image signals. CONSTITUTION:This image processing device 8 is provided with a selecting means 9 selecting the image signals outputted from endoscopes 2a, 2b, 2c, an image processing means 10 image-processing the image signal selected by the selecting means 9, e.g. rotating or tumbling the image, and a switching means 11 selectively outputting the image signal of the endoscope selected by the selecting means 9 or the output of the image processing means 10 to the first and second monitors 4, 7. |
