The light generator comprises at least two light sources (1) associated with reflecting mirrors (2), one or more adders and light couplers and one or more heat dissipaters and light focusing units. The light emitted by the lamps is diverted so that it changes direction before entering the fibre-optic cables. The reflecting mirrors reflect all of the light emitted from the light sources. The mirrors are of the type which reflect all visible light and are transparent to infra-red light, they are also movable either mechanically or electrically.
