<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic carrier capable of improving image quality, ensuring perfect recovery of a residual toner, suppressing its sticking and capable of reducing memory effect and to provide an image forming method using the carrier. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic carrier is formed in 10-100mum average particle diameter with magnetite particles having >=100emu/g saturation magnetization sigmaS. This magnetic carrier is mixed with a magnetic or nonmagnetic toner to obtain a magnetic developer and an electrostatic charge image on the surface of an image carrier is developed with the developer by means of a magnetic brush. This development may be carried out while removing a residual toner.</p> |
