CONSTITUTION:This information recording medium has a substrate, a phase change type recording film which records information by changing the state of a part irradiated with a light beam and a metallic film kept in contact with the recording film and made of a metal, alloy or intermetallic compd. having a higher m.p. than the material of the recording film and forming no solid soln. with the material. The adhesive property of the protective film to the recording film is improved and superior repetitive characteristics are imparted. |
