<p>PURPOSE:To refer to picture information of necessary parts in respective pages, which grasping the content of the whole pages of a document. CONSTITUTION:When a specified area which is to be emphasized and displayed in the page is designated by a keyboard 9 or a mouse 10, an emphasis area setting processing part 32 registers the coordinate value of the specified area in the emphasis display area management table of a document DB management part 21. When a page display processing part 30 displays picture information of the page in a bit map display 6, an emphasis display processing part 34 emphasizes and displays the specified area registered in the emphasis display area management table of the document DB management part 21 by varying it from the other areas.</p> |
