The appts, for tracking & controlling the sun location comprises a sun location detecting part(100) for detecting an azimuth and an altitude of sun, a control part(200) with an operation part(220) for converting and generating the signals, and a sun location tracking part comprising servo-motors for tracking the azimuth and the altitude of sun with their controllers. The sun location detecting part comprises a square douser, a prop for supporting the douser, and a primordial structure with a base plate and four photosensors mounted thereon. If the sum of voltage values generated by the photosensors is larger than the preset value, the control signal of sun location operated with data given by the detecting part is transmitted to the sun location tracking part, and if smaller, the control signal of sun location given by a stored program is transmitted to the tracking part.
