The invention concerns deodorising or anti-bacterial compositions, in particular for use in cosmetic or topical preparations, characterised in that they contain: a) at least one 3,7,11-trimethyl-2,6,10-dodecatriene-1-ol; b) at least one phenylhydroxyalkylether having one, two or three carbon atoms in the alkyl group; c) at least one glycerolmonoester of a short-chain or medium-chain fatty acid; and d) optionally glycerolmonolaurate.
