The pumping station (1) with sewage inlet (4) comprises a vertical circular shaft (2) steeply sloped (16) at the bottom to a narrow sump (3) which is wide enough to accommodate two side by side submersible pumps (6) with inlets (7). Each pump is mounted by a pivoting bracket (9) on a guide (14) for lifting and maintenance. The pump outlet flange (8) is sealed against a connection unit (1) by a wedging lug on the bracket (9). The unit (13) is mounted on the sloping side (16) and connected to the discharge pipe(5). All projecting surfaces are steeply sloped and faired to eliminate trapping of sludge or larger material. |
