PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of the printing quality when the thickness of a medium is changed during printing. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic printer is provided with a photoreceptor drum, a transfer device arranged to face the photoreceptor drum and transferring the toner image of the photoreceptor drum to a medium, a high-voltage power circuit 33 applying the set transfer voltage to the transfer device, an input/output interface 61 receiving the page number information of the medium during printing, a calculating means calculating the change quantity of the thickness of the medium during printing based on the page number information, and a transfer voltage changing means changing the transfer voltage in response to the change quantity of the thickness of the medium. When the page number information of the medium during printing is received, the change quantity of the thickness of the medium during printing is calculated based on the page number information, and the transfer voltage is changed in response to the change quantity of the thickness of the medium. |
