PURPOSE:To improve operability of a composite machine equipped with both functions of a copying machine and facsimile equipment by specifying a tray dedicated to facsimile recording. CONSTITUTION:One of paper trays 52-55 of four stages is specified as the tray dedicated to facsimile recording. A copy paper tray selection program inhibits the dedicated tray from being selected in copying operation and feeds paper from paper trays except said dedicated tray. Further, this machine has a memory which enables facsimile reception even in the copying operation and facsimile data are stored; and received data are recorded successively to the end of the copying operation by using forms in the dedicated tray. When there is no form left in the dedicated tray at the time of facsimile data reception and recording, paper is fed from another tray containing forms of the same size and the data are recorded. |
