<p>A method for making a tin-coated steel sheet useful in manufacture of drawn and ironed cans eliminates the annealing step used in other manufacturing processes. The steel sheet comprises a steel slab having specified trace amounts of carbon, silicon, manganese, sulphur, aluminum, nitrogen and phosphorus, and has excellent formability and corrosion resistance.</p> |
