An ultrasonic working tool for allowing a tool (1) to perform strong and free driving in a stable fashion via a tool holder (2) using ultrasonic vibration as a driving source. A shank portion (1c) of the tool (1) is inserted into a round hole (3) of the tool holder (2) so as to provide a place where free driving is performed at an open end face (2a) of the tool holder (2), and a collar (1b) is provided on the shank portion (1c) of the tool (1) for abutment over a wider area to provide efficient driving. Therefore, it is possible to efficiently perform a working operation such as engraving and stamping on metal or the like. In addition, it is unlikely that the abutment portion is deformed due to driving, and even if a deformation is caused, it is possible to quickly and easily correct it, whereby both the tool (1) and the tool holder (2) can be used to the ends of their service lives.
