The dragnet, used for fishing for shell fish, is formed with a basket (1) constructed on a ballast bar (5), with a scraper blade (4) and a branched towing bracket (2) to pull it across the sea bed. Across the entrance to the basket, are fitted a series of iron rods (3). The series of rods are fixed to the ballast bar at the level of the scraper blade and are spaced at intervals of 5 to 8 centimetres. They are curved over towards the front of the towing bracket and are gathered together and fixed near the top of the towing bracket.
