<p>A fuel valve (1) for injection of gas at high pressure into the combustion chamber (4) of a gas engine has a valve spindle (13), which is urged into a closed position by control oil. When the fuel is to be injected, the control oil pressure is blown off, and through a piston surface (17) acting in the opening direction of the spindle, the gas pressure moves the valve spindle into an open position. The control oil may be supplied at constant pressure by a high pressure pump (32), which is supplied from a control oil tank (34).</p> |
