PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic traveling wave motor, and manufacturing method thereof, in which durability can be sustained even under a high temperature environment of automobile, for example, and thereby the reliability can be enhanced. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic traveling wave motor comprises a stator 11 for transmitting the oscillation of a piezoelectric 12 bonded to the underside thereof, and a rotor coming into pressure contact with the stator 11 wherein the piezoelectric 12 and the stator 11 are subjected to diffusion bonding. |
