Permanently deformed split plug connector and its connection

The split plug connector (2, 3) is arranged in the circuitry (1) of the electrotechnical circuit. The connector serves to connect lead wires (18, 19) to the circuitry (1). The legs (4-7) of the plug connector (2, 3) are permanently deformed to engage in the material of the lead wire (18, 19). To connect the plug connector (2, 3) to the wire (18, 19) the ends of the connector (2, 3) to which the wire (18, 19) is mounted, are bent together by means of a pair of jaws (11, 12).
