The invention relates to a biocompatible ceramic dental prosthesis having a translucency similar to that of natural tooth enamel and a high mechanical strength. It comprises a rigid, porous infrastructure obtained by the reactive calcination of fine particles of alumina/magnesia spinel, alumina and magnesia, the pores of which are occupied by glass infiltrated at high temperature. The invention also relates to a manufacturing process for producing such a prosthesis. |
