PURPOSE:To provide a parking ticket loss/breakage preventing device which can work out a countermeasure for the loss and the breakage of a parking ticket by acquiring a clear image of an entire car even at a parking lot where no entrance gate is prepared. CONSTITUTION:A car approach sensor 1 (including the photoelectric sensors 1a and 1b and an ultrasonic sensor 1c) detects a car 8 approaching to the entrance of a mechanical parking lot at a point having a proper distance from the car 8 to photograph it between a color ITV camera 3 and the car 8. Based on the detection signal of the sensor 1, the camera 3 photographs the car 8 and outputs an image signal 15. Thus the image data 17 combining the signal 15 with the parking ticket information 24 on a parking ticket 9 are registered in an image data base 5b. If the ticket 9 is lost, the image data 18 are detected out of the data base 5b by a retrieving terminal equipment 6 and a data retrieving part 5c. Then it is confirmed whether the image shown on a monitor is identical with the car 8 or not, and at the same time the information on the ticket 9 shown on the monitor is read out. Then another parking ticket 9a having the same information as the ticket 9 is issued. |
