<p>PURPOSE:To improve the extent of exhaust emission control effect so sufficiently despite being extremely simple in structure by constituting it with a vessel receiving an aqueous solution to remove both nitrogen and sulfur oxides, dust or the like in exhaust gases simultaneously, and a difuser pipe being inserted into this vessel. CONSTITUTION:An outlet 4 of existing exhaust gas treatment equipment is connected to an exhaust gas inlet 3 of an exhaust emission control device. In aqueous solution is put in a cylindrical vessel A, and a diffuser pipe 1 is inserted into this vessel A. Exhaust gas turned to minute air bubbles in the diffuser pipe 1 is mixed hard to the solution in it, and simultaneously with a chemical reaction with gas and a dissolving phenomenon, it adsorbs the dust through the solution. In the case where such one made up of adding a surface active agent to a ferrous sulfate solution is used as an aqueous solution, nitrogen monoxide is reacted and precipitated, dissolving a sulfur oxide, and surface tension on the solution is reduced by the surface active agent, whereby the dust is captured by the solution and suspended in the solution. In this case, it is usable by way of adding the surface active agent to a mixture of alkali and ammonium salt reacting to various nitrogen and sulfur oxides as the aqueous solution.</p> |
