PURPOSE:To prevent a tractor having a reverser clutch from starting as if jumping out by stopping the tractor from being started up with the reverser clutch when the tractor is in high gear and throttle opening is at or greater than a certain value, the reverser clutch operating in conjunction with both main and auxiliary transmissions with power switched to drive or back the tractor. CONSTITUTION:Either a main 1 or auxiliary 2 transmission is selected for control at startup, and the tractor can be started up by moving a reverser clutch 3 from neutral to drive or back position. When the throttle of the engine is opened by a certain amount or more, the main and auxiliary transmissions 1, 2 go into high gear, and thus the reverser clutch 3 becomes inoperative and the tractor cannot be started with the reverser clutch 3. Then the throttle opening is decreased or the main or auxiliary transmission is put into low gear to make the reverser clutch 3 operable, thereby reducing the shock of startup and enabling the tractor to be started up safely. |
