<p>PURPOSE:To form hierarchical contents effective for program searching of a video signal when a program searching signal is additionally on a recording medium by recording an identification signal and a time code signal reproduced from the recording medium on another recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A CTL signal multiplexing a VISS signal is generated, and is supplied to a head H1 to be recorded on a CTL track of a magnetic tape TT. Further, a recording signal inserted with the identification signal and the TC signal into the input video signal is supplied to a head H2 to be recorded on a video track of the magnetic tape TT. Further, the identification signal and the TC signal are supplied to a write means 19, and information based on both signals is obtained to be written in a memory means 22. An input means 18 is operated at the added program searching timing while confirming an output video signal by a monitor at the time of reproducing, and an added signal is supplied to a duty factor variable means 2 and the means 19. Then, the signal related to the fall edge of the CTL signal is generated by the former to be recorded through the head H1, and the latter stores a regenerative identification signal and a regenerative TC signal in the means 22 at the timing of the added signal.</p> |
