<p>To locate a body in tissue, or a blood vessel and the like, a Doppler echographic system is used together with materials of a crystalline structure at the zone (23) of the inserted body to be identified. The emissions from probes and the source (9) are directed towards the material, to be received as modified emission products to detect the presence of the body zone (23). Also claimed is a crystalline material placed at the body marking zone (23). The location and tracking assembly has a visual display (13, 15) and/or speaker (17) to receive the echoes. The crystalline material uses sodium chloride, iron filings, mercury, ground glass, potassium ferrocyanide, chalk, copper wire, porcelain, zinc sulphate, potash, magnesium sulphate, sodium hyposulphite, urea, salicylic acetyl, sodium permanganate, sodium sulphate, silicon paper, aluminium oxide, quartz, diamonds or calcium hydroxy-apatite. They are in a grain size of 0.03-5.0 mm</p> |
