PURPOSE: To make it possible to assure the airtight connection of a nozzle to a coating material passage in a spray gun and air passages by providing the subject device with an airless operation type spray nozzle, the air passages for enveloping a coating material jet with air jets and inverting devices for swiveling the nozzle. CONSTITUTION: The airless operation type spray nozzle 3 is fitted together with a sealing portion 4 into a ball 1 formed flatly on one side in the opening portion of the spray gun and is held in this hole by a stop ring 5. Particularly, the nozzle 3 may be aligned to the coating material passage 2 for expelling the coating material in a pressurized state and is provided with the air passages 13, 14, 15 and 16 for enveloping the coating material jet expelled from the nozzle 3 with the air jets. Further, the device has the inverting devices 1 and 9 for swiveling the nozzle 3 by 180 deg. and placing the same in a cleaning work position where the nozzle outflow opening is directed to the coating material passage 2. As a result, the nozzle 3 may be adopted for airless type spraying even when the compressed air for supporting the air is shut off. |
