PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying and deodorizing apparatus for an off-set rotary press capable of achieving easy removing work of tar stuck to the inner wall of the drying and deodorizing apparatus and low cost.SOLUTION: The amount of hot wind flowing from a deodorizing apparatus 3 to a drying apparatus 2 is lowered from that during printing, the temperature of the hot wind is increased from that during the printing, a fan 5 for supplying the hot wind to the deodorizing apparatus 3 is operated, the burner 22 of the drying apparatus 2 is not ignited, nozzles 23a, 23b, and 29 are closed, the fan 21 of a dry zone D is stopped, the fan 28 of a cool zone C is operated, the temperature adjusting damper 11 of the cool zone C is turned ON, and the hot wind of the deodorizing apparatus 3 as heat source for empty heating is circulated through circulation piping 9 to the cool zone C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
