PURPOSE:To restrain toner from scattering from a screw conveyer in the case of attaching/detaching a developing unit. CONSTITUTION:This toner recycling device is a device for returning the toner recovered by a toner cleaner to a developing part in a copying machine. The device is provided with the screw conveyer 55, a hopper part 61 and a shutter 58. The base part of the screw conveyer 55 is connected on a toner cleaner side, and the leading part is opened downward through a dropping hole 55b. The hopper part 61 has an aperture 65 capable of being connected to the dropping hole 55b from a lower part, and is fixed to the developing part. The shutter 58 is provided on the dropping hole 55b, closes the dropping hole 55b in a free condition, and opens the dropping hole 55b in the case the hopper part 61 abuts on the shutter 58 when the developing unit is set. |
