A connector device comprising a connecting part (2) surrounding and attached to the end of a tube (1). The side of the connecting part (2) adjacent the end of the tube (1) comprises an annular recess (5) engaged by a collar (8) of the tube to retain the connecting part (2). An annular groove (9) at the end of the tube (1) receives a gasket. The connecting part (2) is fitted to the end of the tube (1) using a setting tool (12) comprising a flange (13), a central frusto-conical projection (14) and a rib (15). |
