A folding notice stand has a centre post (10) the bottom end of which is connected to a base member (14). The post being slidable through an upper mounting member (12) to the sides of which are pivotted legs (16A to 16D) which slide through apertures in the base member (14), which apertures are, for successive legs, sequentially non-aligned with the pivots of the respective legs. By moving the upper mounting member (12) and base member (14) together into interlocked relationship, the legs (16A to 16D) are splayed apart to form a stable support for a notice which can be secured to the centre post. <IMAGE> |
