PURPOSE:To provide a method and device for the laser beam machining to improve the capability of the laser beam machining when the laser beam machining is realized especially on a work of thick plate. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam machining is realized by keeping the condition where the optical axis of the laser beam LB is constantly off-centered toward the side of the advancing direction of a machining head 11 from the axis of a nozzle 27 to the advancing direction of the machining head 11 when the laser beam machining is realized by irradiating the laser beam LB toward a work W from the nozzle 27 provided on the tip of the machining head 11. |
