<p>The present invention relates, in general, to a protein prenyltransferase and, in particular, to protein geranylgeranyltransferase (GGTase-I) and to a nucleic acid sequence encoding same. The invention also relates to methods of producing GGTase-I and geranylgeranyl modified polypeptides.
