Ski with dampening sections for absorption of vibration energy

The ski body (2) has a dampening section (19) in each of the fastening sections (5'). The two sections are at a relative distance in longitudinal direction of the ski. Each section consists of a moulded body (16) of the dampening material, which projects over the upper surface of the core (8). The moulded body is enclosed by the top part (9) of the ski on the upper surface of the ski body. The core consists of ski construction material only in the area between the dampening sections. The moulded body has a metal plate insert (21) and may be extrusion-moulded.
