<p>An installation for treatment of fumes from ceramic frit kilns that consists of a heat exchanger (7) equipped with a bundle of tubes (8) over which cooling air (130) passes which is capable of absorbing the heat from the fumes so that the fumes leave the heat exchanger (7) at a first pre-established temperature appropriate for entering a filter (23). The filter is capable of extracting polluting powders from the fumes, and the flow of air (130) that leaves the exchanger at a second pre-established temperature passes its heat on to the water in a caldron (20) and is released into the outside environment through a gas escape valve (22) if the caldron (20) shuts down.</p> |
