<p>PURPOSE:To exactly track an object even when a temporary shielding occurs for the object to be being tracked or plural objects exist and they cross with each other, etc. CONSTITUTION:A time control processing 11 defines the time of successively inputted images as the present time and defines a certain time before the present time as reference time. When the difference of the reference time and the present time is below a fixed time, the present time is adjusted. An image storage processing 12 stores the image of the reference time (reference image), the location of an object to be tracked (reference location) and the moving images up to the present time on and after the reference time. A selection processing 13 selects the image and location which are most similar to the reference location of the reference image from the stored moving images up to the present time on the reference time or later. A location/time control processing 14 defines the time, the image and the location of the selected image as new reference time, reference image and reference location.</p> |
