PURPOSE:To eliminate oil seals of a ball bearing by directly embedding a seal cap the inner-peripheral surface of the outer ring edge of the ball bearing. CONSTITUTION:An oil seal 15 is fitted to the inner-peripheral edge surface of the outer ring in axial direction of a lower ball bearing 5 to prevent grease from the ball bearings 4 and 5 from flowing out. On the other hand, no oil seal is fitted to the upper ball bearing 4 and a round plate-shaped seal cap 6 is embedded to prevent grease from the ball bearings 4 and 5 from scattering into a disk chamber. The seal cap 16 is formed in a shallow plate shape. And by fitting an outer peripheral flange 16a to the upper edge inner peripheral surface of the outer ring of the ball bearing 4, the shallow plate-shaped bottom plate 16b collectively covers the gap between the inner and outer wheels of the ball bearing 4 and upper surface of the inner wheel and then the upper end face of a shaft 2, a function similar to that of a conventional seal cap can be achieved, thus eliminating the oil seal.
