Method for adjusting side register of rotary printing machine

The side register adjustment method in a rotary printing mechanism with a final work for indirect printing involves axial displacement of the form cylinder (1) and a sync. axial displacement of the transfer cylinder (2). Pref. a rapid-drying, water-soluble ink is used for inking of the form cylinder. Print work has a common drive for the sync. axial displacement of the form and transfer cylinders. Alternatively each cylinder may be fitted with an independent drive (20,21) with sync. control of the axial displacement.
