The trapezoid-based interior of the shopping trolley holds two to four carrier-baskets (1) of gradated size. The height of the carrier-baskets rises to the top of the trolley sides. The basket sides next to the walls of the trolley taper downwards. When empty the baskets stack inside each other. Each basket is made of colourless transparent plastics in which are tiny holes, and can be made of interwoven wire. Each basket has a rigid handle running along two rails. The bottom end of the handle is thicker to prevent it slipping. The handle grips protrude above the carrier walls.
