The invention concerns a mineral toy plug-in building brick on whose flat upper side (5) nub-shaped primary plug-in elements (7) are arranged in grid-like manner and on whose opposite flat underside (6) secondary plug-in elements (8) in the form of plug-in openings are provided coaxially to the primary plug-in elements (7). The building brick composition substantially consists of a metamorphic powdered mineral, a fluid or semi-fluid inorganic silicic acid compound, a binder and optionally colouring pigments. The powdered mineral comprises the group consisting of gneiss, rocks, quartzites and marbles. The silicic acid compound is selected from the group comprising alkali silicates, silicic acid sols, silicic acid gel with at least 30 to 40 water molecules per molecule of SiO2, preferably sodium silicate, and an acrylate adhesive being used as binder. The primary plug-in elements (7) and the secondary plug-in elements (8) are in the form of spherical segments, the diameter of the secondary plug-in elements (8) being larger, preferably 20 to 30 % larger, than the diameter of the primary plug-in elements (7), and the depth of the secondary plug-in elements (8) being greater, preferably 8 to 12 % greater, than the height of the primary plug-in elements (7).
