<p>Porous ceramic bodies comprising aluminium nitride particles and having an aspect ratio at least equal to 5. The process for the production of said bodies involves the carbonitridation of alumina and is characterized by the use of alumina particles having an aspect ratio of at least 5. Said porous bodies are also useful in the manufacture of composite materials especially with metal, ceramic or polymer matrices.</p> |
