CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted of a connection controlling part CCB 26 which detects the class, service quality, and destination of traffic, controls connection permission, outputs the information of the transmission band width, assigns a virtual channel identifier, and manages control information for a monitor function, medium flow controlling part 18 which operates a function for analyzing the information of a medium flow controlling function field which is present in the header of a cell generated from calling, and allowing a terminal equipment to fairly use a shared medium, and a function for minimizing cell transmission delay, traffic controlling part TCB 32 which monitors the parameter observing state of each call, communicates it to a connection controlling part 2b, controls prior cell disposal bits in the cell header, and operates cell transmission, shaping, and cell disposal, switch 34 which operates the switching of a cell stream from the traffic controlling part 32, and statistical multiplexer 36.</p> |
