<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the display state of display even if the defect and disconnection of switching elements arise. CONSTITUTION:Respective display pixels 4 are provided with plural switching elements l (Tr1, Tr2) and the main circuits of these switching elements are connected in series. One end of the series circuits is connected to a signal electrode S1 corresponding to the display pixels and the other end of the series circuits and an intermediate connecting point are differently connected to the display pixel P1 and the respective pixel electrodes P0 exclusive of the display pixels. The control terminals of the switching elements are connected to a scanning electrode L1 corresponding to the display pixels. As a result, a signal voltage S1 is supplied to the display pixel P1 via the switching elements Tr3, Tr4 driven by the defectless scanning electrode L2 in case of a disconnection of the scanning electrode L1 and, therefore, some display state is maintained.</p> |
