<p>The invention relates to a process for producing a peat product, with the peat being lifted from the peat- harvesting field with a peat-cutting machine, and the peat mass being pressed into a mass-like or bar-like material, dried and crushed into peat pieces. Before the peat is pressed, it is mixed into a homogeneous peat mass in a mixer. Once it has been pressed, and before it is crushed into peat pieces, the peat is heated, in order to be dried, in a drying oven, preferably in a continuous drying process, after which the peat is cooled down. <IMAGE></p> |
