The present invention relates to improved topical pharmaceutical compositions having improved aesthetics which are useful for imparting antimicrobial active. In particular, it relates to topical moisturizing compositions containing one or more antimicrobial active compounds. These compositions are also useful for providing relief from symptoms associated with, for example, vaginal yeast infections.
