<p>PURPOSE: To intensify an alarm, for clearly indicating information of a patient, or a critical condition of the patient by changing background in a range of a video display image surface from a first intermediate color to a second intermediate color in the case where the alarm is received. CONSTITUTION: In a centralized patient monitoring system provided with a center station 20 to receive patient information from monitors 10, 12... 18 on the bed side, the patient information such as personal history information of the patient and biological parameters and waveforms are displayed in a video display surface. The display surface is parted to plural sectors, and in the case where an alarm conditions is generated in one of the monitors 10, 12... 18, and the alarm condition is sent to the center station to be displayed in the corresponding sector in the display surface. In displaying this alarm condition, background of this sector giving the alarm is changed from a normal color (black in general) into an intermediate color such as blue, thereby the alarm condition is intensified.</p> |
