PURPOSE:To confirm data to be erased on the same screen when part of data displayed on a screen, e.g. in a window is erased from the screen. CONSTITUTION:When an instruction to generate a subwindow Ws is given halfway in document creation in a main window W1, the subwindow Ws is generated and displayed on the screen, and data 'AA...A', 'BB...B', and 'CC...C' of three lines which are scrolled and erased from the main window W1 are displayed in the subwindow Ws (a). Then, when data of 'KK...K' and 'LL...L' of two lines are newly inputted in the main window W1, data of two lines 'DD...D' and 'BE...E' which are erased from the main window W1 as a result of scrolling accompanying the input are displayed in the subwindow Ws (b), (c). |
