PURPOSE:To prevent toner from being heaped on a developer control member, and also to stabilize the amount of developer supplied to a developing roll by arranging the controlling parts of the developer control member opposite to a photoreceptor with reference to a line linking between respective centers of two developing roll members having a different rotational direction. CONSTITUTION:The developer 3 sticks to the surface of a sleeve which is rotated in a direction same as the rotational direction of the photoreceptor 7 by the magnetic attraction force of the developing roll 5, and then, the developer 3 is carried and the amount of the developer is controlled to a specified one at the part E of the developer control member 6. The developer 3 being beyond this control passes by the rear side of the control member 6 and the developer is transferred to the developing roll 8 provided with a sleeve which is rotated in a direction opposite to the rotational direction of the developing roll 5, the developer 3 is controlled to a specified amount at the part F of the control member 6, then, both of the developer are carried into a developing area. In this case, the controlling parts E and F of the control member 6 are arranged opposite to the photoreceptor 7 with reference to the line linking between respective centers of the developing rolls 5 and 8. Thus, the toner heaped on the control member 6 is removed by the flow of the developer 3. |
