PURPOSE:To illuminate a passage and a toilet with proper brightness by arranging an illuminant in the inside of a lower position of a wall separating the passage and the toilet from each other and indirectly illuminating the floor of the passage while directly illuminating the toilet CONSTITUTION:In the lower position inside of a wall 3 separating a passage 1 and a toilet 2 from each other, for example, one illuminant 4 (an approximately 3-watt fluorescent light, for example) is arranged at the height of 5-20cm from the floor beside a door 13. A light shielding part 17 is arranged on the passage side of the wall 3 in which the illuminant 4 is arranged, so that direct light is not turned toward any other place but turned only toward a floor 6, while a lighting window 18 and the like, which is turned on/off by means of a switch 20, is arranged on the toilet side of the wall 3 provided with the illuminant 4. In this way, the floor 6 of the passage 1 is indirectly illuminated, while the whole of the toilet 2 is directly illuminated, and as a result, safe access to the toilet 2 without any dazzle can be provided, and expenses for light and fuel can be saved. |
