<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently use a adsorbent and to separate air in good yield with a small amt. of power by repeating the four stages of plural adsorption tanks respectively with a time lag. CONSTITUTION:Four adsorption tanks 3 to 6 are set in a column through a partition plate X, and a nitrogen adsorbent is packed in the tanks 3 to 6. Four stages, i.e., adsorption recovery, reduced-pressure regeneration and repressurization, are repeated in this order with a time lag in the tanks 3 to 6. Consequently, the fixed adsorbent acts as if it were moved from tank to tank. The gas in the tank is replaced by a part of the waste gas from the reduced-pressure regeneration stage prior to the reduced-pressure regeneration stage, and the remaining oxygen is recovered. Further, the gas is moved from the upper part of the tank after the recovery stage to the lower part of the tank after the reduced-pressure regeneration stage by utilizing the pressure difference between the tanks, and the pressure is equalized.</p> |
