PURPOSE:To provide a video signal input device in which a received video signal is reproduced into high gradation digital picture data by utilizing effectively input gradation of an A/D converter means. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with an amplifier circuit (amplifier means) 2, a clamp circuit (clamp means) 3, a DC level adjustment circuit (DC level adjustment means) 7 provided with a setting terminal 8, an A/D converter circuit (A/D converter means) 5 and a memory circuit (memory means) 6. A video signal with missing of a video signal component by several number of scanning lines and a video signal by an optional field with missing of a synchronizing signal and a color burst signal are stored in the memory circuit (memory means) 6 by varying a potential fed to the setting terminal 8. High gradation digital picture data are reproduced from the video signals. |
