PURPOSE: To increase the tank capacity efficiency of missile propellants by forming a piston out of a flexible piston, and forming the flexible piston and an outer diaphragm in a single integrally formed assembly. CONSTITUTION: A flexible piston 20 is provided to have a thickness tapered to an outer diaphragm 23 between a center portion and an outer peripheral portion and thereby a sectional profile constituting a surrounding piston portion larger in flexibility than the center portion. This piston 20 and the outer diaphragm 23 are made of metal and formed in a single integrally formed assembly. The initial position of the piston 20 is located in a dome-shaped inlet end and, by storing propellants at least in a part of an inlet end 3, the propellant capacity of a tank 1 is increased. In addition, the thickness of the piston 20 is tapered between the center portion and the outer peripheral portion, and thereby even the thickness of the outer diaphragm 23 is also reduced. Thus, the sectional profile constituting the surrounding piston portion more flexible than the center portion is provided.
